El encuentro tendrá lugar a las 11 en la sede de La Fraternidad (Hipólito Yrigoyen 1934), gremio ferroviario que lidera Omar Maturano, hasta donde irá una delegación del MASA encabezada por el taxista Omar Vivíani.
Se espera que allí se discuta la situación de la CGT, las fluctuantes relaciones con el gobierno nacional, y la necesidad y posibilidad de convocatoria al Comité Central Confederal (CCC), que podría marcar el fin del triunvirato que hoy encabezan Héctor Daer, Juan Carlos Schmid y Carlos Acuña.
Junto a Maturano estarán, entre otros, Mario Calegari (UTA), Juan Pablo Brey (Aeronavegantes), Roberto Coria (Guincheros), Raúl Huerta (Marina Mercante) y Hugo Benzo (Dragado y balizamiento), este último en reemplazo de Schmid, de viaje por compromisos sindicales fuera del país.
Acompañarán a Vivíani una decena de dirigentes como Marcos Castro (capitanes de ultramar) y Norberto Di Próspero (legislativos), además de otros gremialistas del sector del transporte que analizan su regreso a la CATT.

La reunión había sido resuelta el lunes último durante una recepción que el líder del gremio de aeronavegantes ofreció a los dirigentes de la Federación Internacional del Transporte (ITF) en la sede de la AAA en el barrio porteño de Congreso.
